Mission Statement

Over the next five (5) years, PNGIVLA through its membership and staff led by its President, Committees and Subcommittees will focus on practical valuation, land and property issues in a rapidly changing environment by: -

Providing professional and practical input in the work of the institute ensuring members concerns are effectively addressed within the industry;

Raising the status, representing the views and advancing, promoting and protecting the mutual interests of its members;

Promoting and providing Continuing Professional Development (CPD), mentoring and facilitating and engaging in the provision of courses, meetings and seminars/conferences for its members; and

Encouraging, managing and engaging members in research in the various valuation, land and property discipline.

Our Vision

The Papua New Guinea Institute of Valuers and Land Administration Inc. was incorporated in 1987, as a professional not to profit association under the laws and regulations of the Independent State of Papua New Guinea. The Institute functions to provide continuous professional development for the long term benefit of its members and the public, to raise the status, represent the views and advance the interests of the professions of Valuation, Land Administration, Property and Facilities Management and promote a high standard of integrity and efficiency in the professions. 

Annually the PNGIVLA hosts informative and educational conferences that bring together a wide scope of property professionals and decision makers to discuss various aspects relating to land, valuation, property and management. Forum such our annual conference is beneficial to our members and the general public who can have access and gain vital and informative insights into land, valuation, property expertise and further enhances their capacity and knowledge.
